Privacy policy.
Who we are.
Beyond Meds is the functional medicine practice of Dr. Nupur Jain. This site shares her clinical approach, programmes, and writing. For any privacy question, write to hello@beyondmeds.in. A real person reads that inbox.
What we collect.
When you book a Diagnostic, our scheduling partner Zoho Bookings collects your name, email, and phone number to set up the appointment, and your payment is processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card or UPI details. After payment, the short intake questionnaire collects your main concern, how long it has been going on, and anything you choose to share, so Dr. Nupur can prepare for the call.
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address. Nothing else. No name, no preferences, no tags.
For traffic measurement we use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Plausible. Both are cookieless and aggregate. They tell us roughly how many people visit a page, what device they were on, and where they came from. They do not identify you, and they do not follow you across the web. No personal profile is built.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta pixels, or any retargeting tools. If you have ever felt followed by an advertisement after reading a health article, you will not have that experience here.
Why we collect it.
Your booking and intake details let us schedule the call and prepare for it. Your newsletter address lets us send the lead magnet and the monthly note. Analytics tell us which essays are useful, so we can write more of those and fewer of the others.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build marketing profiles, and we do not pass your contact details to third parties for their own outreach.
How long we keep it.
Booking and intake records are kept for as long as we might reasonably need them to look after you, and then deleted. If you start a programme, your record stays on file for the duration of clinical care plus a reasonable period afterwards, in line with standard medical record-keeping practice in India. If you only have the Diagnostic and go no further, we delete the record on request, and otherwise during routine cleanup.
Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribe, your address is removed from the active list and retained only as a suppression entry, so we do not accidentally email you again.
Cookies and tracking.
We do not set tracking cookies on this site. Because of that, no cookie banner is required, and you will not see one. The only storage we use is the strictly necessary kind your browser handles for you (for example, to remember a form submission state during a single visit).
Where your data is stored.
Your intake answers and newsletter records are stored in Cloudflare D1, inside Cloudflare’s standard infrastructure. Appointment scheduling is handled by Zoho Bookings and payments by Razorpay; email delivery (the lead magnet, the newsletter, replies to you) is handled by Resend. Each is a reputable provider with its own published privacy and security practices.
Your rights.
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) and the spirit of the GDPR, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, and to have it deleted.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@beyondmeds.in with the request and the email address you used. We will action deletions within 7 working days. At this stage of the practice we do this manually, which is also why we keep the data we collect to the minimum.
Email lists.
Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Use it any time. You will not be added to a different list, and unsubscribing does not affect your patient record if you are already on a programme.
Children.
This site is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, write to us and we will remove it.
Updates to this policy.
When we change how we handle data, we update this page and refresh the date at the top. There is no separate mailing list for legal updates. The current version is the one you are reading.
